The biggest upset of the week belonged to Harris County, who took down 50th ranked Bainbridge, 21-17. Esaias Chapman ran for 142 yards in the win.
The Tigers moved up to 231 from 267 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AAAAA Region 1. Harris County climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Bearcats 21-17.
Harris County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justin Wright has thrown for 1028 yards and six touchdowns this season, while DiQuan Roberts has 18 catches for 300 yards. Chapman leads the league in rushing with 857 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Lee County takes on second place Thomas County Central. Last week, Lee County, while Thomas County Central defeated Northside.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Trojans take on the Yellowjackets. Lee County has allowed 108 points this season, while Thomas County Central has given up 100.
The Yellowjackets took down the Patriots 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
