Boyertown scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Owen J. Roberts and snuck past 70-67. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Boyertown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braedyn Johnson, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and four steals. Those seven assists set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jack Greaves, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Perkiomen Valley entered their tilt with Cardinal O'Hara with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Perkiomen Valley came out on top against Cardinal O'Hara by a score of 51-44 on Wednesday.
Boyertown's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Perkiomen Valley, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1.
