After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Granada, Branson/Kim was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cotopaxi Pirates 54-0 on the road. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bearcats needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.
  Kolter Cranson went supernova for Branson/Kim, rushing for 171 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. Cranson really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 73-yard run.  David Gamez made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
 Branson/Kim's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged four passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Cranson and  Gamez. Cranson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 102  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Branson/Kim now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cotopaxi,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Branson/Kim will take on Deer Trail at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Cotopaxi, they will head out to  challenge Primero  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Primero will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Cotopaxi surely won't give up without a fight.
