Oak Forest came into Thursday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Thornton Fractional North Meteors on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bengals also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Oak Forest won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22.

Kynzie Oliver paced Oak Forest's offense, picking up eight kills. Oliver got some help from Betty Redican and her 23 assists. Hailee Morin and Shaylyn Mrofka kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Oak Forest's record is now 8-20. As for Thornton Fractional North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record this season.
