Basketball Game Preview: Avail Academy vs. Community of Peace Academy Tigers

Avail Academy has gone 6-0 against Community of Peace Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Both will face off at 4:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Avail Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Community of Peace Academy will be coming in after a loss.

While Avail Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 51-17 win over Math & Science Academy. Avail Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Community of Peace Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Twin Cities Academy/Great River 46-15.

Avail Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Community of Peace Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Avail Academy against Community of Peace Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 51-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Avail Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
