He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit (and only one walk). Those  eight  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Kellen Sanchez was  excellent,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. He has become a key player for Edgerton: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 7-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Cory Herman, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Edgerton  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Edgerton is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Antwerp,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-15.
