The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hugoton, who took down 26th ranked Holcomb, 20-7. Yates Sutton ran for 149 yards in the win.
Sutton of the Eagles ran for the longest rushing play in Great West this season against the Longhorns last week.
Goodland's dynamic duo of Trey Teeter and Dax Ruhs proved tough for Norton to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Teeter threw for 328 yards and 2 touchdowns and Ruhs had 170 yards receiving. Adam Simmerman helped Goodland's passing attack out by catching 9 balls for 100 yards.
The Cowboys' dynamic duo of Teeter and Ruhs proved to be unstoppable against the Bluejays, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
He went 26-40 with 0 interceptions.
Sutton was the most successful running back in the league this week. Teammate Ross Davis added to the ground attack by rushing for 54 yards.
Teeter put up the best numbers in passing as Goodland bested Norton.
Ruhs was the best receiver in the league this week as Kent Teeter's team beat Lucas Melvin's team.
Leading Great West in both passing and receiving yards, the Cowboys' Teeter and Ruhs have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Teeter has thrown for 517 yards this season, while Ruhs has 12 catches for 173 yards. Hugoton's Sutton leads the league in rushing yards with 222.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Holcomb takes on Scott. Jerry Johnson's team is in fifth place, while the Beavers are in first place.
Clint Merritt's team moved up to 80 from 110 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles were able to make move up by beating the Longhorns 20-7.
