In what's become a running theme this season, the Palmview Lobos gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Juarez-Lincoln, posting a 79-42 victory at home. Given Palmview's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 537th, while the Huskies are ranked 1521st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Palmview got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adrian Ibarra out in front who scored 23 points along with seven steals. Jose L gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Palmview's win bumped their record up to 23-11. As for Juarez-Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 2-28 with that loss, which was their 24th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Palmview will take on the Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Juarez-Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Martin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
