While Cloverleaf didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They managed a 59-55 win over the Orrville Red Riders on Saturday. The Colts' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Cloverleaf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Evie Barth, who posted 15 points in addition to six assists and five boards. Barth is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Seiwerth, who had 12 points and three steals.

Cloverleaf smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games dating back to last season.

Cloverleaf's record is now 7-0. As for Orrville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cloverleaf will welcome North Olmsted at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cloverleaf knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully North Olmsted likes a good challenge. As for Orrville, they will host Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
