State Line Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 60-36 loss at the hands of Arthur-Okaw Christian. If State Line Christian hoped to take revenge for the 59-50 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Arthur-Okaw Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joshua Skowronski, who scored ten points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Skowronski is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Brock Helmuth was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with two steals.
State Line Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.
State Line Christian will be playing at home against Bowling Green Christian Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Arthur-Okaw Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Badger State Baptist at 12:30 p.m. on January 13th.
