While DeSoto put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Potosi. The Dragons were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Trojans. The contest marked the Dragons' most dominant win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for DeSoto and bumps their season record up to 8-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Potosi, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

DeSoto wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Parkway Central on the 30th. Hopefully Potosi paid attention to the Dragons' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
