IDEA Edinburg College Prep stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 64-38 margin over IDEA Pharr. Winning may never get old, but IDEA Edinburg College Prep sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
IDEA Edinburg College Prep was led to victory by Kennedy Onwuzurike and Tracewill Ngoh. Onwuzurike dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Ngoh scored 16 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ngoh has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Alvarez, who scored ten points.
IDEA Edinburg College Prep pushed their record up to 18-7 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for IDEA Pharr, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, IDEA Edinburg College Prep and the will both be playing the Spartans the next time they take the court. IDEA Edinburg College Prep will head out to face the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
