Sun Prairie West is 6-1 against Madison West since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the Regents at 7:00 p.m. Sun Prairie West will be strutting in after a win while Madison West will be coming in after a loss.
Sun Prairie West took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Middleton. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.
Sun Prairie West was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-23, 22-25, 25-18.

Sun Prairie West relied on the efforts of Bridget Drake, who had 12 assists and four digs, and Aspen Bollans, who had seven digs. That's the most digs Bollans has posted over her last 13 matches. Gabriella Peterson also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
Sun Prairie West was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are a perfect 6-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Madison West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Verona, falling 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-11.
Madison West's loss dropped their record down to 0-26. As for Sun Prairie West, their victory bumped their record up to 19-14.
