After two weeks on the road, Prairie is heading back home. On Saturday they will take on Hanover at 1:00 PM. Prairie know how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully Hanover like a good challenge.
Prairie put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 60-30 margin over Cotopaxi. No one put up better numbers for Prairie than senior Trey Moore, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 195 yards and 4 touchdowns. Moore has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.
Meanwhile, after constant struggles on the road, Hanover have finally found some success away from home. They were fully in charge, breezing past Primero 54-7. Hanover were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Prairie to 5-3 and Hanover to 3-5. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
