Northern Valley is 0-10 against the Bulldogs since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Northern Valley Huskies will square off against the Golden Plains Bulldogs at TBD. Northern Valley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 14 more assists than your opponent, a fact Northern Valley proved on Tuesday. They came out on top against Logan/Palco by a score of 61-49.
Northern Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Delaney Sides, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sides has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Austyn Cox, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and four steals.
Meanwhile, Golden Plains made easy work of the Bobcats on Tuesday and carried off a 46-24 win. Golden Plains pushed the score to 46-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bobcats cut but never quite recovered from.
Northern Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Golden Plains, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
Northern Valley took a serious blow against the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 47-19. Can Northern Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
