The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wyandotte, who took down 99th ranked Schlagle, 19-13.
The Bulldogs made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,438 from 8,600. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 19-13 victory over the Stallions last week.
Tanner Huntington put up the best numbers through the air as Atchison bested Harmon. He finished with 13 completions for 211 yards and four touchdowns. Huntington's favorite target this week was Jered Ross, who caught three passes for 65 yards.
J'veyon Browning was the most productive running back in Kansas City-Atchison this week. In 16 carries, he ran for 108 yards as Schlagle lost to Washington. Teammate Trevon Wallace added to the ground attack by rushing for 21 yards.
Tripp was the best wideout in the league this week as the Sabres fell to the Wildcats. Tripp racked up three receptions for 82 yards. Jowell Daniels helped Sumner Academy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 37 yards.
5-foot-11 quarterback Dimonic Roden-mckinzy of Wyandotte is the league leader in passing yards this season with 755. He has also thrown eight touchdowns. On the ground, Tim Dorian's team's Browning has rushed for 760 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Tripp. The Sumner Academy star has 15 catches for 334 yards.
A big matchup in Kansas City-Atchison this week will be when Washington takes on Eddie Brown's team. At the moment, Brandon Corbin's team is in third, while the Bulldogs are in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Stallions take on the Redmen. Schlagle has allowed 66 points this season, while Atchison has given up 38. The Stallions allowed 19 points last week as they lost to Wyandotte.
There should be lots of points scored when Schlagle and Jim Smith's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Stallions comes in having scored 142 this season, while the Redmen have scored 150. Schlagle scored 13 points last week as it fell to the Bulldogs.
Atchison led the league in scoring this week after putting up 39 points on the Hawks. Huntington ran for 10 yards in the win.
