Kaleb Pone Goes Supernova in North Johnston Victory
Starting off the list is North Johnston's Kaleb Pone, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pone rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 93 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards.

On Friday, Eastern Wayne got the W thanks in part to Izeiah Oates playing the best football he has all season. Oates threw for 145 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Spring Creek's probably not too fond of Oates given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Oates saw the Gators), he threw for 225 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 56 yards.
