The School of the Ozarks Patriots's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Exeter Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully School of the Ozarks focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, School of the Ozarks suffered a tough 60-35 defeat at the hands of Blue Eye. School of the Ozarks has not had much luck with Blue Eye recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, School of the Ozarks saw an underclassman step up: Timba Saffle scored 10 points. The contest was Saffle's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Shadrach Thompson, who scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds.
Even though Exeter has not done well against Verona recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Exeter secured a 46-40 W over Verona.
Their wins bumped School of the Ozarks to 2-1 and Blue Eye to 4-0.
School of the Ozarks couldn't quite finish off Exeter in their previous meeting back in February and fell 34-31. Can School of the Ozarks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
