Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sterling). They ended the year with a bang, routing the Clayton Clippers 95-72 on Friday. While the Silver Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Sterling pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.7 points per game. As for Clayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Sterling and Eastern will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Eastern's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Clayton, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gateway Regional at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clayton is facing Gateway Regional at the right time seeing as Gateway Regional is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
