The Williston Red Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Bradford Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williston knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Bradford likes a good challenge.
Williston's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Bell 15-0. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Red Devils yet this season.

Aiden Phillips made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Williston is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise. Phillips was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Daxton Weston was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Braige Schneider, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Williston always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Bradford started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Keystone Heights. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Monday. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kaedan Parks was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Jaxson Carter, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Williston's record is now 8-5. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Williston suffered a grim 11-4 defeat to Bradford in their previous matchup back in February. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
