The Charleston Math & Science Riptide are taking a road trip to face off against the Pinewood Prep Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Charleston Math & Science is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
On Friday, Charleston Math & Science got the win against St. John's by a conclusive 13-3. The Riptide might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Audriana Frasier was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out 14 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dazaria Frost, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Ellis Britt was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Charleston Math & Science was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .469. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .406 or higher in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Pinewood Prep is still undefeated this season after their contest against Fort Dorchester on Monday, but Fort Dorchester came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Panthers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Patriots.
Charleston Math & Science's record is now 14-7-1. As for Pinewood Prep, their record now sits at 22-0.
Charleston Math & Science might still be hurting after the 9-1 defeat they got from Pinewood Prep when the teams last played back in March. Can the Riptide avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
