It was a good run, but the East Vikings unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 21-14 to Phoenixville.
Nate Derosa threw for 102 yards and a touchdown. Tyler Wileczek was his top target, picking up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Coby Jaramillo rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown.
Leading Phoenixville to victory were Deacon Williams and Ty Romance. Williams rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown, while Romance rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
East's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Phoenixville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Phoenixville will head out on the road to face off against Chester at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chester will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
