The Baptist Prep Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Carlisle Bison at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Baptist Prep is hoping to put an end to  an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Last Friday, Baptist Prep was beaten by Bearden 49-14.
 Even though the team lost, they still came through with several impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from  Titus Yager, who picked up 106 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Meanwhile, Carlisle had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They breezed by Hampton on the road  to the tune of  70-6. The result was nothing new for Carlisle, who have now won four games by 42  points or more  so far this season.
 Carlisle's win bumped their  season record to 6-1 while Baptist Prep's defeat dropped theirs to 3-6.
 Baptist Prep was taken down by Carlisle 48-13 when the teams last played  back in October of 2022. Can Baptist Prep avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
