Monday just wasn't the day for Huron's offense. They fell just short of the Skyline Eagles by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Huron can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Skyline are ranked third).
Huron has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's taken a toll on their 8-7-1 record this season. As for Skyline, they pushed their record up to 17-1-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Looking ahead, Huron will play host again on Wednesday to welcome Monroe, where kickoff is scheduled. Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
