Crete-Monee has gone a perfect 4-0 against Blue Island Eisenhower recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Warriors will square off against the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Crete-Monee's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
On Saturday, Crete-Monee made easy work of Thornton Fractional South and carried off a 14-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Dylan Dee tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bren Milburn, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Crete-Monee's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-1 (and 5-7 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Keyshon James, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Crete-Monee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Blue Island Eisenhower's offense. They came up short against Oak Lawn on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Cardinals have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
Crete-Monee is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Crete-Monee has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Blue Island Eisenhower struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Crete-Monee took their win against Blue Island Eisenhower in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 14-2 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
