Garrison Wade made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Wade was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base.
In other pitching news, St. Joseph Academy got a great performance from Jacob Guthmiller as he struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk).
