The Delta Rabbits will hit the road for the first time this season to  take on  the Grand County Red Devils  at 11:00  a.m.  on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.

 Cy Droubay made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Droubay was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Hunt Roninson looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 Back at the plate,  Kyler Davies was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March of 2024.  Carson Nielson was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Delta  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hillcrest only posted  an  OBP of  .316.
Meanwhile, Grand County never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-0 margin over Aztec.
 The team  relied heavily on  Jt Dowd, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Weston Jones, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Delta was able to grind out a solid  win over Grand County when the teams last played  back in March of 2022, winning  4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Delta since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
