The Lakehill Prep Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Lucas Christian Academy Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lakehill Prep is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Lakehill Prep put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Wylie Prep Academy 58-0 on the road. 58 seems to be a good number for Lakehill Prep as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Lucas Christian Academy never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 45-0 victory over Cornerstone Christian Academy. The result was nothing new for Lucas Christian Academy, who have now won five contests by 31 points or more so far this season.
It was another big night for Rylee Holman, who threw for 197 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. Lucas Christian Academy also got help from Jacob Hatchel who showed off his sure hands for 96 receiving yards.
Lakehill Prep's victory was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-6 Lakehill Prep and 3-6 Lakehill Prep (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 39.7% over those games). As for Lucas Christian Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
