University's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. University is 7-1 when Sutton posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise.
In other batting news, D'Angelo Alvarado and Jaylen Guerrero did most of the damage at the plate: Alvarado scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Guerrero scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
