Piedmont Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Corbett Crews, who scored 18 points, and Camden Moss who scored five points. That was a full 46.2% of Piedmont Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Piedmont Academy's loss was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-15. As for Briarwood Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Piedmont Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against First Presbyterian Day at 4:00 p.m. on January 20th. As for Briarwood Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Alleluia Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Alleluia Community knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 games -- so hopefully Briarwood Academy likes a good challenge.
