Clearfield Alliance Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Calvary Christian Academy on the road and fell 58-31. Clearfield Alliance Christian has struggled against the Conquerors recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calvary Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Suttles, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Tyrell Lapp, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Clearfield Alliance Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearfield Alliance Christian is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will take on the at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
