Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Borah). They walked away with a 74-62 victory over the Ridgevue Warhawks on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ridgevue lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tucker Tiddens, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaimana Nielson, who had 16 points.

Borah's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-5. As for Ridgevue, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Borah will venture away from home to take on Rocky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ridgevue, they are taking a road trip to square off against Boise at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgevue is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.4 points per game this season.
