The Flandreau Indian Indians will take on the Crazy Horse Chiefs at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Flandreau Indian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Flandreau Indian had to suffer through a rough 76-8 loss at the hands of Lower Brule. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Flandreau Indian has scored all season.
Meanwhile, even though St. Francis Indian scored an imposing 62 points on Monday, Crazy Horse still came out on top. Crazy Horse walked away with a 74-62 victory over St. Francis Indian. The victory was just what Crazy Horse needed coming off of a 57-37 defeat in their prior contest.
Flandreau Indian dropped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Crazy Horse, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Flandreau Indian might still be hurting after the 77-52 loss they got from Crazy Horse in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Flandreau Indian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
