The biggest upset of the week belonged to White, who took down 81st ranked White, 20-14.
St. Charles Catholic extended the longest winning streak in 3A District 7 this week by beating St. James, 41-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Donaldsonville's dynamic duo of Leondre James and Jaquel Grant proved tough for Brusly to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. James threw for 138 yards and one touchdown and Grant had 74 yards receiving. Stephen Sullivan helped Donaldsonville's passing attack out by catching four balls for 62 yards.
D'Kwan Sandolph provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Wildcats fell to St. Charles Catholic. He completed six passes for 108 yards and also ran for 68 yards. Sandolph's favorite target this week was Fabian Steib, who caught two passes for 68 yards.
Donaldsonville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. James has thrown for 1641 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Sullivan has 65 catches for 669 yards. James also leads the league in rushing with 485 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Panthers take on Port Allen. At the moment, Brusly is in third, while the Pelicans are in first.
There should be lots of points scored when St. James and the Tigers face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, James Bell's team comes in having scored 55 this season, while Donaldsonville has scored 126. The Wildcats scored 0 points last week as they lost to Frank Monica's team.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Cardinals take on the Comets. White has allowed 169 points this season, while St. Charles Catholic has given up 93.
Port Allen and Kyle Lasseigne's team played the most hotly contested game in 3A District 7 this week, with Port Allen eventually emerging with a 20-14 victory.
