If the Woodsboro Eagles were feeling good  off their  58-34 takedown of the Falls City Beavers on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Woodsboro took a serious blow against Goliad on Thursday, falling  67-17. Having soared to a lofty 58  points in the game before, Woodsboro couldn't push the score so high this time.
  Layton Jochetz was Woodsboro's leading scorer, having posted six points.  
 John Baker held things down on the boards with six rebounds. 
 The last time Woodsboro won  on the road was back  last Friday. Having now lost five straight away contests, they've  bumped their record down to 3-5. As for Goliad, the  win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
 Woodsboro will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against Yorktown at 9:00  a.m.  on December 8th. As for Goliad, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cuero at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday.
