The West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors will head out on the road to  face off against  the Aletheia Christian Academy Lions  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. West Florida Baptist Academy will be strutting in after a  victory while Aletheia Christian Academy will be coming in after a  loss.
West Florida Baptist Academy's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  19-0 margin over Gulf Pointe Latin. That 19 run margin sets a new team best for the Conquerors this season.

 Cruz Duncan made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Those  seven  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3. West Florida Baptist Academy is 2-1 when  Duncan posts two or  more  runs, but 3-8 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Landon Lombardo was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those  hits marked the first that  he  got this season.  Daniel Gonzalez was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 West Florida Baptist Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .629. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Aletheia Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Snook Christian Academy on Thursday and fell  7-6.
Like West Florida Baptist Academy, Aletheia Christian Academy also got a great game from a two-way player:  Brady Carlson. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and only one walk). Carlson has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  a single  hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases.
 In other batting news,  Tanner Brock was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Noah Wheeler, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 The  win made it two in a row for West Florida Baptist Academy and  bumps their season record up to 5-9. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-1.
 West Florida Baptist Academy couldn't quite get it done against Aletheia Christian Academy when the teams last played  back in March as they fell  12-7. Can the Conquerors avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
