The Ridge Community Bolts lost against the Lake Region Thunder back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Ridge Community fell 58-45 to Lake Region.
Despite the defeat, Ridge Community had strong showings from Eddy Hyppolite jr., who scored 15 points along with two steals, and Siled Morris, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Hyppolite jr. is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.
Even though they lost, Ridge Community were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Region only racked up three assists.
Dwayne Lattimore continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lake Region, scoring 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher German, who scored eight points along with five steals.
Ridge Community's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lake Region, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge Community will take on Kathleen at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kathleen has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11. As for Lake Region, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Davenport at 8:00 p.m. on January 17th. Davenport is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
