The Eastside Blazers can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. Everything went their way against Westview as Eastside made off with a 42-16 victory. Winning may never get old, but Eastside sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Westview lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Karis Weinberg, who scored five points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Westview struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-5) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Eastside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for Westview, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.
Eastside will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Central Noble at 7:30 p.m. As for Westview, they will square off against Churubusco at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
