Assumption had a rough outing against Clear Creek-Amana last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Assumption were the clear victor by a 27-0 margin over Liberty. Followers of Assumption probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Assumption take on North Scott at 7:30 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for Liberty, they will face off against Assumption. Assumption also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their contest this week, so look for the defenses to decide this one.
