The Northwestern Trojans lost against the South Pointe Stallions back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. It was another big night for JaNyia Cunningham, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds for South Pointe. Cunningham is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Morris, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Northwestern will be playing in front of their home fans against Catawba Ridge at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Catawba Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday. As for South Pointe, they will head out on the road to face off against York at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. York comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
