Cody Austin and Austin Parton provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Motley County. The connection was good for 66 yards, the longest such play in 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 2 (6 Man) this season.
Valley extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Crowell, 89-40. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Patriots.
Paducah's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Austin threw for 153 and two touchdowns and Parton had 117 yards receiving. On the ground Oscar Mathis chipped in 83 yards. Devron Brisco helped Paducah's passing attack out by catching two balls for 85 yards.
Paducah's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dragons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin has thrown for 225 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Parton has nine catches for 298 yards. Mathis leads the league in rushing with 466 yards.
Valley took down the Wildcats 89-40 last week, the largest margin of any game.
