Drury and Belchertown are set to face off this Saturday at 3:30 PM. Neither team wants a repeat from last game, where each was handed a considerable defeat.
Drury simply didn't have it last week, losing 54 - 0 to Amherst-Pelham Regional.
As for Belchertown, it was crushed by Monument Mountain/Mt. Everett 38 - 14 last week. The team got a solid performance out of junior Bradley Lovett (he ran for 116 yards and also punched in one touchdown); unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
The losses dropped Drury and Belchertown to an identical 0-4. Both Belchertown and Drury have been struggling on the defensive side of the ball (the former allowing an average of 42.25 points per game, the latter an average of 48.75 points per game). We'll find out which offense can take advantage of this fact when the two teams meet this week.
