Dalton had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 8-9 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers with a sharp 13-6 victory. The Bulldogs' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.

As for Strasburg-Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since March 29th.

For Strasburg-Franklin's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Lancaster, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Lancaster is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dalton will host Norwayne at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Strasburg-Franklin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Garaway at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
