There's no place like home for Eastside, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by the Keystone Heights Indians to the tune of 89-51 on Wednesday. The Rams' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Eastside got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jai'Vion Williams out in front who posted 13 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Johnson, who put up 11 points.

Eastside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

When it comes to explaining why Keystone Heights lost, don't look at Gregory Pelham. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 14 on his way to 27 points. That was a full 52.9% of Keystone Heights' points, marking the third time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dereon Tochterman, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Eastside's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Keystone Heights, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Eastside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-46 loss against Lake Weir on the 14th. As for Keystone Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-67 defeat against Middleburg on the 13th.
