Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mardela). They blew past the Washington Jaguars 77-47 on Tuesday. The Warriors pushed the score to 55-33 by the end of the third, a deficit the Jaguars had little chance of recovering from.

When it comes to explaining why Washington lost, don't look at Elijah Thomas. Despite the final result, he went 9 for 12 on his way to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Develle Morgan, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards.

Mardela pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

The future could be bright for both Mardela and Washington: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Mardela will try to hand Crisfield their third-straight loss when the two meet on Thursday. Meanwhile, Washington will try to hand Bennett their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
