The biggest upset of the week belonged to Summit Christian, who took down 451st ranked Summit Christian, 18-12. Isaac Wolf ran for 111 yards and caught two passes for 14 yards in the win.
Trystan Lago and Gavin Dicken provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Jupiter Christian. The longest such play in 2A District 7 this season, the connection resulted in 99 yards.
Highlands Christian's dynamic duo of Lago and Dicken proved tough for the Eagles to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lago threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns and Dicken had 118 yards receiving. John Fitch helped Highlands Christian's passing attack out by catching two balls for 39 yards.
The Knights' Lago and Kyle Audet have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Lago has thrown for 1032 yards this season, while Audet, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 17 catches for 360 yards. Kelvin Taylor from Glades Day leads the league in rushing with 884 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Coral Springs Christian takes on Village Academy. As it stands, the Crusaders are in third, while Village Academy is in fourth.
Highlands Christian extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 7 this week by beating Jupiter Christian, 20-14. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
