Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Flowers walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Parkdale Panthers a 10-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Flowers, bringing their record up to 10-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Parkdale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Flowers will face off against Eleanor Roosevelt on Tuesday. The Jaguars will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matches. Parkdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
