Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westwood Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Taylor has scored all season. Jermaine Agyeman was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Miami Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sebastian Gonzalez. Despite the final result, he shot 5-for-11 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Gonzalez has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Ramos, who scored ten points along with six assists and two steals.
Westwood Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Miami Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.
