Basketball Recap: Stratford Academy Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Stratford Academy won the last time they faced Westfield School, and Frankie Raines Jr did his part to make sure it happened again. The Stratford Academy Eagles strolled past the Westfield School Hornets with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 71-55 thanks in part to Raines Jr, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 12 boards. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Stratford Academy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Westfield School, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Stratford Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-52 win against George Walton Academy on the 4th. As for Westfield School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-48 loss against Brookstone on the 7th.
