The Seagoville Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 60-20 blowout they got at home against Adams. That 60-20 margin sets a new team best for Seagoville this season.
Leading Seagoville to victory were Jai White and Ahniyah Jackson. White scored 19 points, while Jackson scored 24 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Seagoville's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amia West, who scored six points.
Seagoville's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. As for Adams, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
Seagoville will head out on the road to face off against Spruce at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Adams, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Samuell at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Samuell comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
